Chaunee, as discussed, we sat down and reviewed the actual event carefully this morning. I have still to do the plant Operators, but I think this is enough for you to understand how we staffed during the last week. Main points:

-This is straight accounting of on-site hours. No OT, no callback or Union Contract stuff is shown.

-Even though you see zeros in places it doesn’t mean the crew wasn’t working. Many cases were me asking that person to stay home and rest so they would be available if things got bad (crew rest is a critical safety factor in these kinds of situations, I know from direct experience). We didn’t know what we were up against.

-The Asterix denotes actively available to return throughout that day, and actively answering my questions by text, etc. Everyone allowed me to use their personal phones for mass communication during the event, which was helpful.

-Some of the crew were up fighting fires, attached to Colton or Scotts Mills Crews on these days marked zero.

-The Triangle is a “was holding the duty phone” day. Many of the overtime hours were middle-of-the-night callbacks, or multiple returns to work.

-It should be noted that had the situation gotten suddenly worse, we were postured in such a way that we could have put no less than 5 rested crew anywhere needed, and maintained that crew with rotating rested crew almost indefinitely.

I hope this helps you figure out how you wish to handle accounting for time, let me know if you have any questions.

Respectfully,

Andy Peters
