Subject: Salvation Army needs assessment survey

City EMs,

The Salvation Army is currently conducting a needs assessment survey for Clackamas County and asked that we share this out broadly. Please share with any of your city employees or other partners you feel best suited to take the survey.

The purpose of this survey is to better understand what services are need for the various populations in Clackamas County. This information will greatly inform Salvation Army’s planning efforts, as they look to site services in the county. The survey results will be compiled and scrubbed to maintain anonymity, but may be available to organizations who have interest in utilizing the results for their own planning efforts.

The target audience for this survey are knowledgeable individuals including elected officials, educators, clergy and civic leaders, non-profit organizations, and others working to provide support to vulnerable populations in Clackamas County. In order for this survey to best represent the diverse communities and community needs, we need your help sharing the unique needs and desires of your community members. When sharing the survey information please note the following:

1. The survey is confidential and only the collective results will be reported, and

2. The Salvation Army will share the results of the survey with any interested parties

Additionally, there are actually two separate surveys which The Salvation Army is conducting. In addition to Clackamas County there is another survey for North Portland. They are clearly identified on the Web page.
