Importance: Normal

Hello Chaunee,

Thank you for checking in on this point. Like Molalla, the County is still collecting the same type of information while in the middle of the fire response and the event is still ongoing.

The State and FEMA are asking for initial estimates of damages and impacts from all affected communities so they can make determinations on program assistance now rather than waiting for the event to conclude.

Understanding that, we will receive and submit with the rest of the County what ever calculations of emergency work and damage estimates you can document and also a summary of how these damages impacted your community.

This is really like having a foot in the door for federal assistance that will be fully opened as the scale and scope gets evaluated. In the coming weeks, Joint FEMA and State teams will be out inspecting and verifying our initial reports and accepting revised information to more formally base disaster programs expense requests.

I hope that helps with what ever you can submit to us by noon on Wednesday.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance,

Jay

Jay,

We received your email regarding submission of our damage assessments today. The email states that you need our uploads by noon on Wednesday 9/23. We are still working on our assessments and can not gather all of our information by that date. What are our options here?

Thank You,

Hello everyone,

Here is the upload form web link for entering your damage assessments. Excuse us for the delay, but we needed to make a few amendments for this event.

https://web3.clackamas.us/damages/agency/login/

Instructions:

If you have a login from older events, you can use that or create a new account. We ask that your jurisdiction or district or school have only one login to enter data so that we avoid duplicate entries.

Like the original FEMA Excel spreadsheet, you need to list locations and categories separately. FEMA requests that you make sure to specify the date of damage and if caused by wind or fire, since some jurisdictions may have wind impacts, but had no fire damage.

On the entry page, there is a pdf link for Category Definitions if needed, as well as a link at the bottom for a debris estimation calculator. Both are below as a reference.

Definitions https://dochub.clackamas.us/documents/drupal/de242330-b66b-4cd2-a0ca-a26263b2af37

Debris Calculator https://ema.ohio.gov/Documents/DRB/Sample_Plan/APPENDIX_F.doc

As a reminder, we need your uploads by 12pm Noon on Wednesday, Sept 23rd, so that we have time to read and formulate the County’s report and files exchange with OEM by the close of business on Friday, September 25th.

Please contact me if you have questions. Martin Montalvo, with the City of Wilsonville, is providing his expertise and experience to help with the County with this process and you may get a reply from him on the County’s behalf.

Thank you,
