New Region 10 PA Disaster Operations Branch and Branch Chief effective 11/9/20: Exciting news here in Region 10 Public Assistance! Effective yesterday, we have added a second Public Assistance Branch, called Public Assistance Disaster Operations (PADO) Branch. Trevor Stanley is the branch chief, and PADO is responsible for, you guessed it, disaster operations, including all active COVID and non-COVID events. What used to be called the Public Assistance Branch is now the Public Assistance Regional Operations (PARO), and Anna Daggett is the Branch Chief.
Vaccination eligibility FAQ update: This is still in the works, with no updated timeline. Our understanding is that there will be no changes to policy and that eligibility of vaccination costs will continue to be governed under the PAPPG and the medical care costs policy.
AFG Application Period Closing Soon: Assistance to Firefighters Grant FY 2020 COVID 19 – Supplemental (AFG-S-2) funding application Period ends Friday November 13, 5pm ET. The AFG Help Desk will operate extended hours during this final week of the AFG-S 2 application period. On November 9, 10, and 12th, the help desk will be available from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. EST. The help desk will available on Friday, November 13th, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST. You can reach the help desk by phone at (866) 274-0960 or by email at firegrants@fema.dhs.gov.
