Attachments: 2020September03_UpcomingWindyDry.pdf; FW: Prevention Messaging for the Labor Day Weekend; Clackamas County PIOs.xls; City EMs, Below are follow up items from this morning’s call, as well as some additional information that I’ve received today. School metrics – The County PIOs have put together this Clackamas County School Metric webpage. There are links on this page to the state information as well. Clackamas County has received all but 8 school plans that need to be reviewed by Clackamas County. Review is currently underway on those received. City Emergency Declarations – If you extend your emergency declaration please forward a copy to me. NWS briefing – Attached is a short weather briefing into early next week, highlighting concerns regarding windy and dry conditions over the Labor Day weekend and into early next week. OSFM wildfire prevention messaging for Labor Day weekend – Attached is an email from the Oregon State Fire Marshal asking to share prevention information. There are a lot of great Big Foot posters/cards/social media images to utilize in messaging. Cooling Centers – Most traditional “cooling centers” are closed for COVID. FEMA provides tips on how to be safe during hot weather. EOC Update Video on Labor Day – View on YouTube PIO Group – Kimberly Dinwiddie-Webb, Clackamas County PIO and Policy Liaison would like to reconvene the County PIO group. Please see the attached PIO spreadsheet and send me updated PIO information for your agencies. Please note, this spreadsheet is very outdated and I still need to update the County PIO information. I will be working on updating this to share it back out. If you come across any good content for Halloween messaging you can contact Kimberly at Kdinwiddie@clackamas.us or the EOC PIOs at EOCPIO@clackamas.us.
