My recommendation would be for you to coordinate through Pastor Dale Satrum, the Pastor at Foothills Church on Grange St. Their facility has a great drive-through area that would flow appropriately plus they operate a store that provides clothing and food to those in need in our community.

I am following up on this. County EOC Operations is helping CCI work on coordinating a location for food box distribution and would like to know if there is a good location in Molalla. They would need an area that is good for drive through pickup. They are hoping to coordinate this for next week.

Please let us know if you have a good contact in Molalla to work with – it can also be a faith-based organization or non-profit if the city is unable to host it. I’m also copying Byron Wakefield with Molalla Fire District, to see if he may have a contact.

Correction: It is the CCSO Community Care Initiative that will rotate their boxes. This is because they are located so close to where the Salvation Army is distributing.

Hi Gerald,

The Salvation Army is putting together food boxes and doing a large distribution on Fridays starting next week at the Clackamas Town Center. Our mass care staff are trying to coordinate with them and potentially have them rotate this distribution throughout different places in the county. They are looking at doing Canby, Estacada, Molalla, and Sandy. And it would likely rotate every other week to two of the cities.

Is this something the City of Molalla would like to support? They would need a location to setup a drive through box pick up and a few local volunteers to help with setup.

If this is something you would consider, please let me know who our mass care staff should connect with.
