Good afternoon,

Happy Monday! We hope you all had a safe and restful weekend. Please keep letting us know how we can assist you, and if there are any particular topics or questions you’d like to be addressed. Here’s today’s update:

Emergency Food and Shelter Program: The EFSP National Board posted to the EFSP website, www.efsp.unitedway.org, this morning its funding allocations to qualifying jurisdictions (counties and cities) in all 50 states and to the U.S. territories. The allocations are now public information.

FEMA Advisory: COVID-19 - PPE Packages for Nursing Homes: Attached is a FEMA Fact Sheet on PPE Packages for Nursing Homes. Under the direction of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, FEMA will coordinate two shipments totaling a 14-day supply of personal protective equipment (PPE) to more than 15,000 nursing homes across the Nation.

In addition we will be distributing a schedule for the virtual DR4499OR Applicant Briefing/ Q&A sessions soon. These Applicant Briefings are intended to give a brief overview of FEMAs Public Assistance program and DR4499OR COVID-19 specifics. Attached for your reference in the COVID-19 Streamlined Project Application and the FEMA Job Aid COVID19 Public Assistance overview.
