Subject: RE: Mobile shower resource available for homeless population

Importance: Normal

Hi Jamie,

We are checking with our Warming Shelter folks to see where a best location can happen. How is the wastewater dealt with in the mobile shower unit? Is it hauled away or does Amy Jo have a contract with a septic hauler. They will ask me these questions. Thanks.

Subject: Mobile shower resource available for homeless population

Importance: High

City EMs,

Amy Jo Cook is currently working on human service issues in the county EOC. She has a mobile shower resource available and would like to setup a schedule to move it around the county to provide showers to people experiencing homelessness.

All the city will need to provide is a working water spout and the water, as well as a permit or waiver of permit. Ideal locations would be places near where homeless populations frequent. Amy Jo has some ideas if you cannot think of locations.

Please email EOCOperations@clackamas.us if you are able to host the shower, and provide a list of locations you think would be appropriate. If you would like to discuss with Amy Jo please call her at 503-650-3325.

Thank you,

Jamie Poole
