Subject: RE: Information request from Clackamas County EOC

Importance: Normal

An update from Molalla.

Our Library is closed and we will be closing City Hall to public access today at 12PM until further notice. The City Council will discuss issuing an emergency declaration at its March 25th meeting and may take action by Resolution at that meeting. Public Works is still on normal working hours.

Regards,

Gerald Fisher, P.E. | Public Works Director

Subject: RE: Information request from Clackamas County EOC

Because this is a medical emergency and not related to an issue with providing clean drinking water and/or sanitary services, Molalla’s EOC has not been activated for Public Works. Should the Molalla Fire District activate its EOC and request participation by Molalla Public Works and/or Molalla PD, then we will coordinate with Molalla Fire and our other partners. At this time no emergency declaration has been put in place by the Molalla City Council and we are referring our local residents and business owners to the County Health Department for updates and recommendations. If an Emergency is declared or the EOC activated then we will notify Clackamas EOC Planning.

Right now we are at a full complement of staff and may go to split shifts if an emergency is declared. I will let our Chief of Police add any additional information from his group. Thank you.
