Subject: Public Restrooms Question

Importance: Normal

Gents, our staff this morning had a concern about the Public Park Restrooms and I promised I’d bounce it off you:

First, Molalla has not historically provided soap in the park bathrooms, so until we get some new dispensers on order no one can really wash their hands properly. Second, there is no real way to follow the CDC guidelines of waiting 24 hours after use by an infected person before Cleaning/disinfecting (because we don’t know if an infected person used the bathroom!). Finally, we certainly don’t provide the PPE the CDC is recommending, such as gowns. That seems like overkill to me but I’m not the CDC, nor am I the one cleaning the bathrooms normally! Thoughts?
