Non-Congregate Sheltering Delegations of Authority Waiver Memo (03.21.20) FINAL Signed NEW

Summary: This memo amends the approval authority and amends the criteria for non-congregate sheltering.

COVID-19 RPA Deadline. Updated. 03.21.20. FINAL Signed- NEW

Summary: The Public Assistance RPA Submission Deadline is nationally extended and will remain for the duration of Public Health Emergency , as declared by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, unless an earlier deadline is deemed appropriate by the Assistant Administrator, Recovery Directorate.

COVID-19 EPM for Accessible Public Service Announcements Fact Sheet (03.21.20) NEW

Summary : Under Category B of FEMA’s Public Assistance Program -Expenses associated with making those communications accessible and effective for the whole community, including people with disabilities, people with limited English proficiency, and others with access and functional needs, may also be eligible for assistance as Category B emergency protective measures. Costs associated with providing effective communication through the provision of auxiliary aids or services such as qualified sign language interpreters, Communication Access Real-Time Translation (CART), Braille, or large print materials can be eligible costs for reimbursement if the costs are directly tied to the performance of eligible work and adequately documented.
