In addition, how far do we carry the maximum slope? If we have extend beyond the ROW, we may need a right of entry from the property owner.

Hi Hassan,
On the opposite side of the street where there is just driveways and no sidewalk how steep can we go to match existing?
Do we have to keep the 2% thru the driveway or can we go 8% to 12% from the top of curb (DWY Approach)to match existing.
Thanks
Curtis

Hi Curtis,
The slope through the driveway on the sidewalk side shall be a maximum of 2%but outside the sidewalk envelope it can be 8% to 12% as shown on sheet C15, detail 3. Please have Barb or Bob make contact with Jenn first. If she can’t be there to assist, I should be able to help. Let me know.
Thanks,

Hi Hassan,
The crew call in and said the driveways sloped at 2% does not match the existing driveways, some are too steep to match the existing.
We need directions how far to cut the existing driveways back, per plan it is 5’ from back of curb.
Thanks
Curtis
