Here are the following comments for the material that was resubmitted and items still needing attention:
1. Need a new submittal for 6” Wall Drain Pipe that is listed on the ODOT QPL list for drain pipes.
2. Gasket cut sheets submitted this revised submittal recommended for approval.
3. Approved part of partial approval – 7/21/2015
4. Where will the cast iron flanged fittings be used? P. 29 – F-02 10x6 Flg Tee (Plans call for an MJ Tee not Flg Tee)
5. Approved part of Partial Approval 7/21/2015
6. Need cut sheets for cast iron valve box/lid. – Need statement from manufacturer saying that material is H20 load rated.
7. Where will the 6” DIP be used? P. 40 – Fire Hydrant Lateral – Need to know Class of pipe planned for use and verification that DI is cement mortar lined per AWWA C104 (ODOT Section 02470.20)
8. Need cut sheets for the water service connections p. 41 – Are these compatible with PEX tubing? Service connections are to be PEX per plans.
9. Ball and Straight valves need to be bronze alloy p. 43 – Submitted Valve Listed is the ‘City Standard’ Is the Iron Ball and Straight Valve the City standard?
10. Where will the schedule 40 pipe be used? – I-09 ¾” Service/I-11 1” Service/I-12 1” Service – Not Approved – Services are to be PEX tubing per plans.
11. Remove sheet 49
12. What size is the check valve? P. 50 – Need size still
13. Fasteners need to be Grade A or B – Recommended for approval
14. Remove the submittal for the flow control tee, I submitted that separately.
