I’m ok on the cost of the MH adjustment, just want to wait and see if they give us a reduced unit cost based on added quantities and saved time to the contract for the change. I think I have a good point on the working days, since it is a critical path item.

Hi Hassan,
Dan and I went out to Heintz today looking at the planned dig-outs. The actual pavement failure well exceeds the planned dig-outs and extends from N Molalla to Grange. Our proposal is to do the following:
1. Prep trenches
2. Continue to grind 2” at curb line for 6 ft
3. Grind center roadway 3” for 28 ft
4. Place fabric for separation with in the 28 ft
5. Pave back 3” of PG 64-22, Level 3
6. Overlay 2” as planned
I believe this will save time and cost, and produced a better product for the City.
