Hi Jenn,
As per our field meeting on Friday and as discussed with Dick of Eagle-Elsner we recommend removing the AC Flanged adaptor and replacing it with FLxMJ gate valve and make the connection as shown on detail âFâ sheet c13.
If the City wishes to install an 8â valve on the south leg of the waterline, the contractor suggested the City pothole and determine the depth of the water line as it appears to be diving below the existing 36â CMP culvert so it can be determined where is the best place to install the valve.
