Hi Jennifer,
I was out on site yesterday and going over the project with Bob and we have come to the conclusion with all the unexpected problems Eagle –Elsner had with the water line we need to ask for more time.
I have a breakdown of some of the issues we have had and some of the bid items that increased.
Take a look at it and let me know, I will continue to push the crews as much as I can to complete the project.

I believe the crew already potholed the location this morning, but yes.
I can accept an extra day for the extension provided that it delays the critical path of the project. I know currently the project has an additional 30 days for the installation of the water line on Stowers. For additional working days, please list out any addition date(s) and reason for delay to the critical path of the project. (ie – Underground conflict with buried bridge at N. Molalla and Heintz St.)

OK can the city crew help us with the location and the depth of the forced main?
We can do it for the unit price, we might have to ask for a little more time at the end of the contract, we still have over a month if everything goes better than it has, we will be ok.

Subject: 7th St - Water main extension
Hi Curtis,
Looks like Hassan is out of the office today so I am sending you a request to extend the waterline on 7th westward from Stowers beyond the existing forced sewer main before tying into the 6” AC existing main (See Sheet C7A). The extension should cross underneath/below the existing force main. The crew has been on site today and potholed the exact location of the forced sewer main.
This should not need to be a change order and paid by line item. Please let me know if you have any questions.
