Hi All.
After talking to Ken last week, we have agreed to go with a 6’ hydrant assembly and a 1’ riser to reach the 7’ depth needed in the field. The 7’ hydrants are about 3 weeks out to order.
Also, the irrigation service meter on the east end of the project will need to cross the high pressure gas main in its existing location. I have a call into Avison to see if he has any concerns with moving the hydrant about 30-40’ to the west to avoid crossing the gas main and avoid future conflicts if there are issues with the service line.
