Hi Dan,

Couple things discussed last night…

1. We did not have enough folks for a quorum again. However, we discussed the ACT and it sounds like there will only be one ACT recommended for the Region 1. The positive is even though we combat the bigger cities and metro, they only get one equal vote as we do. I also believe Metro will no longer have an advantage in the Region and now is at the table to share funding across all the counties, cities and unincorporated areas.

Another positive is they will begin to see that the smaller cities (like Molalla) and unincorporated areas are in need of safety and infrastructure improvements and they are not as costly as a $65M freeway multi-interchange project. Not to mention the current restrictions on fright to and from the Portland area utilizing state routes.

2. The group also asked to see the list for the Urban Renewal Plan that we are bonding. Can you please send me a copy and I will forward this to the group.
