Small Tools
We have just under $19K left for the year (15/16) in our small tools budget. I know you need a few tools, plus a leak detector. Once you have identified what you need, please let me know the costs for approval.
For the leak detector or any tool over $1K, please attempt to find 3 quotes. We will need at least 2 quotes for approval.
Street Repairs
After the recent repairs, there is approximately $90K in the current Sidewalk/Street Repairs budget. Expecting that we need to hold $35K for future water line street cut repairs, ADA Ramp retrofits and other street failures, we can plan to start working on quotes not to exceed $55K for striping and crack sealing. The work can be done either by early October 2015 or early June 2016, weather or temperature permitting.
Please work on drafting a complete location list and measurements (LF) for crack sealing and striping.
· Crack Sealing shall be done for a longitudinal/horizontal cracking at minimum 0.25” wide
· Lane Striping shall be paint (2 coats @ 4 hours min between coats)
· Stop Bars and Crosswalks will be plastic
· Crosswalks should be Staggered Continental (see link below) style with the anti-slip grit added for ped safety, with exception to Main Street/211 and OR 213 crosswalks shall be parallel markings.
