I wanted to reach out to you in regards to future grant opportunities for the City of Molalla to expand its current recycled water or water re-use program. The City currently provides recycled water during the months of May through November to a local farmer and cemetery for irrigation, weather permitting. Recently the City Council approved a resolution to increase sewer utility rates and set a goal to expand the City’s recycled water capacity. With the increased sewer rates and the council’s support, the City is preparing itself to move forward for an expansion of the system.
I realize the City submit for the recent grant cycle of funding, however please keep the City in mind for any future Grant Programs that may come available.
