Thank you for the explanation! We appreciate it. When we arrived home this evening the tree had been removed, thank you for that also.

Hi David & Judi,
The current pump noise you may have been hearing lately is not in relation to the controlled discharge to Bear Creek that was discontinued January 1, 2016. At the time of the discharge, Operations had been using a secondary pump between the lagoons to equalize the water levels. However, recently Operations is using the secondary pump between the lagoons to lower the water level in Lagoon #1 for a maintenance repair. Pump noises may occur periodically until Operations is able to access during low water levels, make the repair and resolve the maintenance issue.
In regards to your second concern with the fallen tree. Plant Operations was previously notified of the fallen tree and has planned to remove the section from your property later this week. Up until the last few days of dryer weather, they have had difficulty accessing that section of the property due to saturated soils.
I hope you find this response addresses your concerns.

Ms Cline,
We are residents at 1680 Toliver Rd and are concerned about the increased noise we have heard from the lagoons across Bear Creek from our residence. According to the December and January Discharge Monitoring Reports there was pumping from Lagoon #2 to Bear Creek which confirms our curiosity about what was going on with lights and noise both day and night at the northeast side of the lagoon. During the month of February we have continued to hear noise from that area.
Will this pumping continue to occur regularly throughout the year? As spring and summer approach and we spend time in our backyard we are concerned about the noise. We appreciate your consideration of our question and concerns.
In addition, we would like you to be aware that a portion of at least 2 trees have fallen across Bear Creek from a windstorm in mid-December 2015. The trees are on the south side of Bear Creek and at least one has damaged the cyclone fence.
Thank you for your time and we look forward to your reply.
