The new WWTP Lead Operator is Jason Clifford. In addition, we have lost 2 staff members that may have been aware of the location of the plc files, while Jason did not. In addition, we have recently run across some electrical and system issues due to storm events and lack of preventative maintenance practices. Jason and Jake are working diligently to address the issues. Yes, please proceed with installing a new 1000KVA UPS in the main lab and return the UPS back to the headworks. Thank you for your assistance, Jennifer Cline, P.E. He indicated the headworks PLC had lost it’s program and the bar screen would only run in hand. He also expressed a desire for us to provide copies of the all the PLC program files for the City. (this was a bit odd as all the City plc programs are stored on the computers at the WWTP and the WTP.) When we arrived on site we found that headworks PLC was fine but that power to it had been disabled. The UPS in the headworks panel had been removed and installed in the WWTP PLC panel. With your permission, I would like to order and install a new 1000KVA UPS in the main control panel in the Lab, and move the headworks UPS back to the headworks control panel. The UPS will cost approximately $300 and we will have 2 or 3 hours of time in a trip to the site for the installation. Is this OK with you? Thanks, Troy B.
