Rick Harmon cut a few branches this morning to increase the sight distance. Please let us know if you still have any concerns when you commute by the area. The contractor’s most recent schedule has them shutting the road down starting September 10 and reopening by the end of the day September 23rd. Vince Hall is the project manager and he will update you next week, if the schedule changes.

Hi Randy,
I know your busy so I will keep this short. I have a public safety concern with Wilhoit Rd. that I use every day to commute to and from Molalla. Recently it has been more difficult to see the NB oncoming vehicles when at the SB stop sign. Many NB vehicles don’t stop either. Recently I’ve seen several skid marks in the NB lane, assuming there are some sight distance issues. Can you have someone take a look at cutting the brush back on the inside of the curve to the right of way to improve sight distance. It also appears the asphalt in failing more and more into the travel lane.
