SUBJECT: CDBG Policy Advisory Board Meeting

Clackamas County allocated Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for program years 2015 and 2016, which covers the two-year period from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2017. Enclosed is a copy of our recommended Two-Year Project Summary which shows the projects to be funded. Also enclosed is a schedule of meetings and dates for the 2016 Action Plan process.

On Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at 3:00 PM, we have scheduled time to answer any questions you might have regarding projects proposed for funding with 2016 funds. The process to allocate funds for program years 2017, 2018 and 2019 will begin in November 2016.

For those interested in meeting, this will take place in Meeting Room #238 on the 2^nd floor of the County’s Public Service Building. The Public Services Building is located at 2051 Kaen Road in Oregon City. For directions, please call Kimberley Hebard at 503-655-8591.

The 2016 projects will be included in the County’s Action Plan which will be considered by the Board of Commissioners during a public hearing on Thursday, April 14, 2016. The Action Plan needs to be submitted to HUD by the end of May in order for the County to be eligible to receive 2016 funds.
