Hi Lauree,
The leak has been identified to service Faurie Street. This is a smaller line and does not affect the main line in Francis St.
Due to limited staff and preparation of the upcoming 4th of July events, the City has planned to postpone the repairs until after the 4th of July.
I understand your concern with the wasted water. However, to make proper repairs at this time would likely impact Francis Street significantly and traffic during the holiday weekend.
Thank you for your patience,

Subject: Water leak
Good morning,
I live in Molalla, and I’ve noticed a water leak from one of the lines that runs along Francis St. by Faurie Ave. It’s been there for quite a few months, and hasn’t been repaired. I called and was told that it isn’t going to be repaired until after the 4th of July. That’s a couple weeks from now and it’s been going on for a while. Is there a chance it can be repaired sooner? It’s concerning watching water run out of that cover, knowing it’s just running down the street being wasted.....
Thank you for your time,
Lauree Nelzen
