Thank you, that was a timely response and is helpful for Dan to use at the council meeting next Wednesday. I see you assumed a 6% increase this year. It appears we are currently about 9.5% behind inflation with our current water rates.
Could you do the same for sanitary sewer?

See attached graph that I threw together based on the info you gave me. The starting value is assumed just for a relationship between inflation and adopted. This might help explain the gap to Dan. Let me know if you want the data too.

Mayor and Council – Attached are the most recent Wastewater and Water utility Rate Resolutions as we discussed during your last meeting. Included with each resolution is the data produced to update the rate. My thought was to bring these to Council on August 26th as a discussion item along with a potential street/storm/park utility fee. As a note the water rates were adjusted in 2009 but just that one time. Let me know if you have questions.
