Jennifer is going to send me the CIP list for next year and is working on some expense estimates for the current fiscal year. I am headed out for a short vacation tomorrow and will be back in the office on Tuesday. I would like to get with you next week to talk about debt service and other expenses so I have a complete picture of revenue needs going forward. Will be looking at the current budget on an off over the weekend and will try to have a short list of questions for you when I return. Will be focused on understanding how the money moves around in your budget and forecast of upcoming expenses. Thanks Heather and have a good weekend.

Gerald – I have included Finance Director, Heather Penni’s e-mail for you and I have chatted with both Heather and Jen about working with you on our rate adjustments. As I stated today our wastewater rates happen to be our pressing need but Council only wants one decision for both that also includes our ability to make annual changes as needed.

Gerald – How quickly could you put together information for Council consideration on water and sewer rates? We do need to tie everything back together but the need to adjust sewer rates is a bit pressing. Jen mentioned you were scheduled for a meeting but it is not on my calendar.
