Hi Curt,

I was out of the office on Friday, so I apologize for the delayed response. I am having Garrett look over the design and will get back to you tomorrow sometime if he has anything additional to add.

Will you have an itemized engineers estimate also? I would like something to compare to any bids we receive.

Here are my comments:

· Silt Fence should be installed on downhill side prior to any grading work and inspected by the City.

· The existing fence will be removed and reset by the City, any damage will be at the contractors expense.

· Should there be free draining material on top of the footings behind the wall to prevent erosion or other stability issues?

· If not already, please include a Pre-construction meeting in the specials

Attached is a draft of the vactor spoils receiving station to stimulate our discussion. I have added a bar screen and slide gate, and have eliminated most of the dual sloped floor so the floor can be access with a front end loader. Please take a look and let’s talk again. We will prepare a brief specification document that will have the contract requirements and a bid form to solicit bids when you want to move forward. Thanks
