ODOT owns, operates and maintains more than 800 miles of state highway in Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, and Hood River counties. Our mission is to create a safe, efficient, transportation system that serves the needs of Oregonians whether they are walking, biking, driving, or taking transit. Less than half of ODOT’s highways in urban areas now have sidewalks and bike lanes.
