Hi Ken,

This is something I will have to look more into tomorrow. I may need to contact our attorney for guidance.

Insurance question

We would like some clarification on the minimum insurance requirements in the RFP, in order to propose on this project. (See attached)

14. Section A. Indemnity

This appears to be aimed at contractors not professional services. This reads like a warranty, for which insurance company’s do not cover for professional service. Can you clarify the requirements.

14. Section B. Liability Insurance.

It appears as if the automobile, general and professional liability is combined together and not separated. We request clarification on the minimum requirements for each.

In addition, our insurer does not issue “additional Insured” for professional services. This is a clause I would generally see in a construction contract. Please clarify the requirements.

Thanks

Ken
