I really appreciated you attending and sharing your C4 knowledge last night. I believe your knowledge as a whole regarding the funding and availability was very helpful, and you have a great way of delivering the information. I feel it was just enough to spur the committee to make a motion of recommendation in the positive direction. Hopefully we will proceed successfully moving forward with securing additional road maintenance funds for the City.

Dear Mayor and City Councilors,
I met with the Transportation Advisory Committee last night to emphasize how important it is for the City of Molalla to have a stable regular funding mechanism for street maintenance. I went over Transportation Districts, gas tax and street maintenance fees on utility bills. The Transportation Advisory Committee discussed multiple options and voted to make a recommendation to you.
Attached is some information I shared with the committee. I pointed out that all other cities in Clackamas County have some sort of funding mechanism for regular street maintenance. Also that Molalla is at least six years behind other cities in Clackamas County in implementing a regular stable funding mechanism.
If there is anything I can do to help you with this issue please let me know. In my opinion, the City of Molalla is overdue in implementing a regular stable funding mechanism for regular street maintenance.
