I bet they do.

Ha Ha Ha (evil laugh) I say we hold the letter hostage until they remove the arrow sign (blocking drivers’ view entering 211 at the west exit) promised months ago.

Heather - did you see Dan included you twice?? You’re twice as important J

Subject: Thomas Stout

I spoke with Mr. Stout on the phone today and he said he needed a letter of from the City of Molalla so that Clackamas County Building Department could issue him a demolition permit. He also told me that he spoke with Nicolas Lennartz about 4 or 5 months ago. Nicolas would have explained things to him but in my experience contractors do play dumb when they want forgiveness. In chatting with Jennifer earlier I discovered that Mr. Stout was interested in tearing down the car wash at Toads (we think). I made a quick run by the car wash and it is already down and in a state of rubble.

Clackamas County is under explicit direction that they are not to issue permits in Molalla unless they have approval from the City. That seems to be working. In this case Mr. Thomas needs to fill out a Site Plan Review Application. There is not much for us to review but we send the County and approved application. Preferably, before they start the work. Not a big deal but we do not send letters so if someone is asking just tell them to fill out the application.
