I understand these are local streets, however Heintz and Grange are used for many commercial businesses. I want to keep street access available to the public unless they are paving. Otherwise single lane or site specific closures can be used to do the majority of the work. I could see Stowers closing to local traffic only since it is primarily residential. I would like to minimize traffic impacts where possible in the commercial areas.

Those are the details and concerns that we can discuss with the contractor at the preconstruction meeting and they can make the changes to the schedule or the TC and resubmit. On those low intensity streets, if needed we can work with the contractor on as needed basis whether a sign or a lane closure, etc.. is needed. We aren’t working on a major highway, the street grid is very accommodating except for the local access.

Hi Hassan, I will have comments to you by next Tuesday regarding these TTC plans.

I do not see a typical single lane closure plan for work to be completed prior to paving. This roads do not need to be closed until paving activities commence.
