Attachments: image001.png; The break was just south of the hydrant connection located at the SE corner of Heintz and N Molalla Ave. (See Sheet C12) The connection was made just short of a 45-deg bend upwards. It is my understanding the break was after the two 45-deg bends that raise the hydrant line. The City has an issue paying for this break, signs of a break surface shortly (within a few hours) after the grinder moved over this section of the line. In addition, the City provided services just over an hour to excavate for the leak utilizing the vactor truck. I believe the cost is somewhere around $240 hour plus the 2 crew members. I will find out what the total expense to the City is for the work. Jennifer Cline, P.E.
