Hi,

I also met with Barb and Bob afterwards. I believe there are at least 4 driveways that will exceed the 12% and only on the eastside or sidewalk side of the street. The City has accepted the driveways exceeding the 12% and any driveways that are needing a modified driveway with the 1 ft – 12% break. Barb has notes as what to construct in the field.

Thank you,

HI Curtis,

I met with Barb and Bob yesterday morning and worked through all of the driveway, Barb marked the slope and the catch point at each of the driveways, on three of the driveways , I suggested to have a break at 4 feet from the back of the curb to minimize the steepness and the catch point.

Two of the driveways exceed the 12% grade unless we go beyond the 8 foot (ROW), we also marked those driveways, the City should get the concurrence from the property owners prior to their reconstruction.

I hope this answers your questions.

Thanks,

Hi Hassan,

The crew call in and it sound like we have the driveway grades figured out.

The crew said some of them will be steeper than the 12% Max as per plan and some will be going onto the home owners property past the 8’ R/W.

Since this is not per plan Eagle-Elsner and Roger Langeliers will need the approval from the Engineer and the City of Molalla.

Thanks

Curtis
