Hi Darren,
We have two options…
1. Identify and inventory all regularly used “lifted” sidewalks in town and solicit bids to have a contractor grind these flat. This has been done at least once before at Long Park. Unfortunately our Parks budget is limited at this time until we receive additional funds. However, this does give us a good amount of time to create any inventory.
2. Pull the panel, remove any roots that are raising the section and reset panel flush to adjacent sidewalk (may want to bring along some rock to level it back out). This work can be scheduled anytime as a non-priority project and listed on our white board for 2 crew members.

I noticed today in front of the pocket park that one of the sidewalk panels is starting to lift slightly creating a potential trip hazard, just a heads up on that.
