Hi Randy,

Thank you for the information. We are looking at adding inspection fees for ADA. We do not issue our own building permits, this is handled by Clackamas County. This requires the City to issue sidewalks, driveways and ADA ramps within our ROW and the need for a permit.

I was also wanted to see if you had an hour to meet with Dennis and myself. As I mentioned previously on the phone, we are still planning to construct a waste water dump station, but our budget does not allow us to do so until FY 17/18. I would like to discuss an IGA to handle using your facilities if possible, to dump solids from the Vactor Truck for drying and haul for disposal. Additionally, we have project coming up to remove solids from our aeration basin at the WWTP. We will need a place to haul our solids. I would like to discuss the opportunity to haul to your plant.

Is there a time next week or the week after that will work for you?

Subject: R/W Permit Fee Question

Jennifer

Per you voice mail, we do have construction permit fees for work performed in the public right-way, I have attached the Ordinance 1795. Unfortunately it is outdated, but bases the permit cost on a base amount, and then percentage of the improvement cost after the base. The Ordinance has certain exemptions, ADA ramps is one of those, the fee is exempt but a permit is still required.

ADA and Sidewalk/Driveway details can be found on our website per the following is the link to Standard Specifications and Details http://www.woodburn-or.gov/?q=pw_standard

Thanks
