If we can move ahead financially then I am O.K. The plotter and scanner should be parted out to water, waste water, streets, parks, storm and planning/administration if we can swing that.

Attached are quotes for a new plotter and new plotter/scanner respectively. They’re offering a $1000 credit for the plotter/scanner combined, which takes that price down to $5200. Plotter alone for $3450.
Regarding the error message that I mentioned with the scanner - I talked with the techs at Precision Images and they think the flashing light next to the (!) icon is simply the scanner telling us that the plotter isn’t connected and that there is no issue with the scanner. Something we already knew because the plotter is cooked.
My 2c – the scanner is fine so we don’t _need_ the dual machine but their offer to credit us on our old machines and take them away is compelling. I’ll be happy either way but have a slight preference for the plotter/scanner offer.

Dan, Canon introduced a new model the first of February, iPF780 (basically the 760 with a few more bells and whistles) The pricing on the iPF780 MFP, multifunction printer and scanner is promotional and requires a trade-in that I have listed. Take a look and tell me what you think.
