Subject: Population Questionnaire 2015
We have officially submitted our population estimates for 2015 via the Portland State Population Research Center. Our last estimate put us at 8,820. We’ve added approximately 40 dwelling units between June 30, 2014 and June 30, 2015. This increases our estimated population, unofficially, to 8,927 for 2015.
I would anticipate with the eventual approval of phase III of Stoneplace apartments, the Bear Creek subdivision (96 and 132 dwelling units respectively) and infill from Big Meadow Phase 15 (18 more d/u roughly) our estimated population numbers for 2016 to be roughly 9,586. (Keep in mind this making a series of assumptions including the timing of these developments… But it is fun to posture.)
