The Pioneer ran the story on their website today.
George, I was asked why I had been waiting, and then specifically asked about why I didn't ask you to step down. I think the world of you. What he had initially in the article he toned down at my request, and included that I felt you would do a great job if elected. I believe that wholeheartedly. I did request that he remove it entirely, but at least he toned it down. The community will never be able to fully appreciate all that you have done here, but I have a pretty good idea. We've done great things together, and we still have a year to go.
