Hi Gary,
The pip zone bedding & backfill need to be correct and compacted up to the bottom of the new rock base. At the Robbins intersection that is approximately 16ā below existing finish grade when construction is complete. Temporarily that top 16ā should be finished with a compacted gravel surface. Temporary cold mix would be preferred, but not required.
Iām not sure how far you are cutting east into Robbins? However, if it is beyond the radius returns (take a look at the completed plans online), then a full trench repair with T-cut in the pavement is required.

I am not sure what you are wanting on the road saw cut? I am under the impression all the old asphalt is being replaced is this not correct? This is being done for the city not for me.
