Jennifer, thank you for your call yesterday regarding the City’s momentary power outage.

Records show that a vehicle hit a pole at 07:44 causing a momentary disruption—PGE’s Molalla substation system protection equipment reclosed two times to clear the fault. Total power outage time was only 30 sec.

It took most of the day for crews to make repairs to replace the pole and restore regular service. Power was switched back to preferred source at 17:23.
