Subject: OR211 at S Hezzie Ln

Information regarding S Hezzie Ln on the south side of OR211 is desired. Recent research associated with OR211 improvements by a development project has raised questions regarding S Hezzie Ln.

Google maps shows S Hezzie Ln and The Thomas Guide also shows S Hezzie Ln. Additionally, ODOT’s straightline chart shows a Hezzie Ln intersecting with the south side of OR211 at mile point 12.04. However, the assessment map appears to indicate S Hezzie Ln is an easement and is therefore not a public street but only a private driveway providing access to several properties. There does appear to be addresses using S Hezzie Ln.

ODOT needs to know if S Hezzie Ln is a public street under the jurisdiction of the City of Molalla or is just a private driveway access. Highway striping and other treatment is dependent on public street or private access status. The ODOT straightline chart needs to appropriately depict this highway access feature.

Your assistance in determining the status of S Hezzie Ln would be appreciated. Is there a contact at the city to help resolve this issue? I was unable to find city mapping or contact telephone numbers at the City of Molalla website to help with this research.
