Hi Jason,
I almost forgot, but I know a highly recommended diesel mechanic who is just outside Molalla. Once I remembered, I called him but it was after you guys had left for the day. He’s going to head out to Coleman’s to take a look at it tonight and let me know what he thinks is going on. I’m hoping to have him repair it tomorrow when he has time.
His name is Tom Sleight and number is 503-314-1959. A good number to hold onto for future repairs on the old Big Gun or other diesel engines outside their warrantees.

The only way is to run it like it’s irrigating. I also responded to Rusty and told him Thursday or Friday for the pipe repair. We will pull the new big gun over to the north side when it’s been fixed and run the handlines as long as we can to do some catch up. Even though I wanted to pull the little gun, we will leave it there to water because that one can run 24 hours, too. I will have to tell Coleman to not touch the little gun or I will find a way to lock it up so they can’t move it.

Thank you for the update.
Was Jake able to speak to Leo about the best way to real in the new Big Gun? I’m thinking Leo might have some tips on how to do this.

Jennifer,
After Jake and Nikki replaced the injectors, and after trying to replace the injection pump, the old big gun is down indefinitely. It will be taken to Valley Fab this week. Although this is not recommended, Jake will reel in the new big gun hose so it can be placed in the south for irrigation. Our pond levels as of today are 10’3” in pond #1 and 12’7” in pond #2.
Thanks,
Jason
