Hi Kelly,
Thank you for coming out and meeting with all of us at the City. I have a few points that I would like to include regarding future Goals for OR 211 and OR 213 as a combined City, County and State effort.
· Locate funds for construction phase of the current design phase for paving OR 211 (paving limits unknown)
· OR 213 @ Vick Road. – Investigate traffic data and crash history to see if intersection improvements are warranted
· OR 211 @ Matthias Rd. “Y” Intersection – Further Safety analysis to verify if an intersection reconfiguration improvements are needed.
I am unsure what steps should be next to keep moving forward on these, if there are any suggested contacts or steps taken on the City’s behalf, please provide.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Cline, P.E.

Mayor Rogge, Dan, and Jennifer
I hope you all had a nice weekend and Veteran’s Day.
Per our discussion on Friday, here are the items that we agreed to follow up on.
1. Develop preliminary cost estimate for additional sidewalk construction OR-211 East to City Limits. Funding for design or construction for such a project is not currently available.
2. Investigate signage options for pedestrians and cyclists on roadway, particularly at Bear Creek Bridge.
3. Review last season’s paving project between Metzler and Engle to see if it’s consistent with ADA policy.
4. Hezzie Ave Crossing –see if a pedestrian island could be possible.
5. OR-213 at Toliver – Check with traffic to see if a new traffic count study is warranted.
6. Y Intersection – Re-examine parking prohibition. Trim back landscaping. Move stop signs and stop bars.
7. Provide a contact for ODOT Transportation Safety Division Safe Communities Program (Walter.J.MCALLISTER@odot.state.or.us, 503-926-4187)
The City will do the following:
1. Work with Clackamas County to submit a Speed Study from OR-213 to Vaughn
If I’ve missed anything, let me know.
