Hi Jimmy,

As previously communicated, the City was waiting to put in a larger sign order. It is not cost effective to have the crew drive to Portland to pick up one sign. As of now, the order is complete and we have the signs as of late last week. Dennis will be installing the signs over the next few weeks. We are currently tied up with water line installations, water line repairs and sanitary sewer cleaning to stay on schedule with the CCTV contract among other required daily services.. the list goes on. This sign is not a safety issue or regulatory requirement, so I do ask that there is some patience until the crew has available time to put it up.

As far as the reimbursement, I had thought she was already reimbursed? George could confirm that, as he has been in touch with her since the last council meeting. Please let me know if we need to still reimburse her for the sign.

Best Regards,

Subject: No Outlet Sign

Dan & Jennifer,

Sandy Sumner called me last night on some other items, but brought up the "no outlet" sign.

Can we find a way to send her a reimbursement for the sign and get the sign put up? I believe she has a legitimate concern. I realize it is not on the top of our needed list, but I think with a limited amount of effort we can get it put up. I really would prefer her not deeming it necessary to come back to Council with the same issue, or to feel compelled to write a letter to the editor over something relatively trivial. I'm even willing to put the sign up myself if someone can give me an idea of the best way to do so. Let me know how I can help.

Thank you,

Jimmy
