I called and chatted with Tiffany this evening. We spoke about 3 issues really, here’s a quick re-cap;
(1) I requested an agenda for the meeting in 2 weeks, we should see that soon
(2) Tiffany brought up that the irrigation on Colman ranch would most likely be reduce due to the fencing required at Colman Ranch restricting cattle from crossing the Bear Creek and Creamery Creek tributary/headwater locations. And we need to plan for addition irrigation location options. I will definitely have questions regarding the fence set-back restrictions.
(3) The letter we received from David Cole and the last sentence in the 2nd paragraph. I said that it leads “someone” into having reason to file a complaint against the city when we are working to correct issue. I also asked that it be reworded in the future and it was not the City’s intention to state we have had no SSO’s, just we have had none relating to I/I and/or storm surges. She did apologize for missing that, but unfortunately I think the damage has been done. I will respond formally with our understanding of SSO’s and correct the I/I plan to state “no known historic SSO’s related to related to I/I issues” in section 2.1. I attached the current Final plan in case you’re interested. I also, requested DEQ give the City written acceptance once the changes are made, she verbally agreed.

I feel his letter is leading someone to complain since it is a public document, not ok when the 1 SSO is not I/I related. Very irritating.
