Darren and other Team Molalla folks,
Thanks for passing this on and sorry for your trouble. I have been checking the parks regularly first thing in the morning, including bushes and restrooms. I had a dental appointment first thing yesterday, so didn’t get to make my rounds. This morning I found two subjects (Jordan Phillips and Justine Walker) sleeping in the men’s restroom at Long Park. We issued them both exclusion orders from all city parks 30 days, which is the limit for now. They were told they would be arrested if they came back to any city parks.
I sent out a memo to all the officers last night essentially asking them to take a no tolerance policy on this and related issues. Small steps but we will try to take action each and every time we can.
