Hi Mitch,
I apologize for the delay, but appreciate your patience.
I recently spoke with our city engineer and he said the plans you have look good for the design. He didn’t feel there was anything for him to do other than the review. However, he still feels it is still a conflict of interest to re-stamp the plans. I realize we are back to the same argument the engineer had made before but honestly it is not my call.
I don't see you needing any redesign, just an engineer to review an re-stamp for approval.

Yes, it's good meeting you yesterday as well. We will do our best to help move the extension forward. I will request a cost for the design work today and let you know when we receive it. The design work would be paid by the city and reimbursable by you.
