Will you please clarify the cost of drinking water below. Is the cost 0.33 cents per gallon or 0.033 cents per gallon?
Also, are these cost per gallon still relevant with the current sewer and proposed water rates at roughly 20%?

Here is a follow-up on the cost for water and sewer. The reality check.
In fiscal year 2014-2015 it cost your users the following:
· 0.31 cents to treat a gallon of sewage
· 0.33 cents to treat a gallon of drinking water.
I called your local Safeway this morning and a gallon of Safeway brand drinking water costs $1.09. So, the City delivers drinking water to your tap (you don’t have to drive and pick up a plastic jug) a total of 330 gallons for the same $1.09. That’s a pretty compelling example of the rate payers getting a really good deal. Raising their rates to repair and maintain the system should be a no brainer.
